Owner Spotlight: Howard Brass

I’m Howard Brass, Chief Guru @ clickguru.

I look forward to sharing my story and hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I grew up in Toronto and finished my studies at the Richard Ivey School of Business and thereafter achieving the CFA designation.

I've been an entrepreneur for many moons, but I launched clickguru in December 2015 on the premise of helping small businesses with digital marketing and SEO on Amazon.com. It has grown into a full-featured platform to include a proprietary technology for website and e-commerce development as well as a full suite of digital marketing tools enabling small businesses to grow.

Like many entrepreneurs and business owners, I’m constantly wearing many different hats. Daily, I try to focus on a couple of important tasks—there are so many things to do but knocking off one or two key items makes me more productive.

While adding new clients is important and is the lifeblood of our business, the overall customer experience is where our team makes the most important decisions. We strive for and encourage patience, persistence, and positivity to provide clients with first-class service.

While I attribute the brunt of my success to my parents, I have adopted a mix of traits that I’ve taken from other great leaders and businessmen from Warren Buffett to Elon Musk to Jeff Bezos.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy playing golf, punishing my opponents in hockey, and spending time with my two little daughters. I also support local community causes like the United Jewish Appeal, Hospital for Sick Kids, Mount Sinai, alongside others.
